not 100% sure how this is gonna work at mo will more than likely cover final version in vinyl if decide to go with it
You have extraordinary taste. That color is absolutely delicious. I would stab you for the gas cap alone. (that's a Detroit compliment. O0 ) Did you make that cap yourself? And I'm sure I'm not the only one in here who wants to know how you did that dash. That looks SOOOO much better!!! One of the few things I prefer about the splitties is that shiny art deco dash. How did you do it?! :mwave:
at the moment it is just a 1641 remtec with twin carbs which has done the job reasonably well till now but it will be changed eventually once camper is finished or though i not sure what for as yes people are all suggesting subaru but to do that might as well of got t25 wanna stay aircooled possibly a 2ltr engine or slightly larger but if can afford one ideally a porsche engine as it keeps it aircooled roots
the dash was not as complicated as people thing i welded metal plates of where speedo, radio and glove box go then a little filler to smooth off and paint the holes were easily cut in the most problems i had were by a country mile getting the speedo sorted almost through in bin at times and had i known how hard tailgate was gonna be i would of never attempted i see why no one attempted before it so hard it kept destorting and just wouldn't go straight i estimate over 40 hrs at least on that alone
Have you seen these? I thought one might compliment your white gauges. Plus it's nice having a clock in your bus.
