my customized 79 panel

I brought the bus in 2007 and went for chrome bumpers and wheels and early rear lights but paint was looking tired and patchy so decided to start again so here goes

as i did her 1st time

I started with the front end and where better to start

with defromation panel



with defromation panel removed



and finally resprayed

 

i wanted something modern but with a retro twist so some classic retro vdo gauges on a smoothed dash seemed the order of the day

 

LOVE the dash, very sexy and smooth.
shame the ash tray ruins it...

i wanted something a bit different rear end looked at 100's of different lights and decided to merge these onto a camper

Fiat coupe rear lights



I used the rear lenses and had to have these light pods made as lights would not sit a right angle to the body



and rear end ready for lights to be fitted

 

very nice 8)

 

A lot of people like to use one of these to make a custom dash again wanted to be different



so went for this idea



and came out like this

 

wanted smooth look all round so gone with solanoids

 

will put pics of it up at weekend completed just need tax before can bring it home

In answer to questions indicators are inside the headlights and yes ashtray does ruin it but have something a little trick to replace the ashtray
