    mmmmmm fried chips, try the local takeaway

  2. Got an email from aes about this:

    I think I may have burnt it out. {insert swear word here}

    ok, so theoretically, you don't need to connect anything to P...

    12v to the + terminal, then L to the switch, which in turn goes to the indicators...

    so almost totally different to a relay off one of our buses.... go figure :eek:

  5. That's why i wired it wrong (that's my excuse), wondered what the burning electrical smell was. Lol

    Guess I'll have to order a new one.

  6. I need some suggestions.

    I have wired everything up and it all works fine but how should i fix all the cables down?

    I temporary used gaffer tape for when I took it to bug jam but it doesn't stick to ply very well. Any suggestions on how I can fix it all down to keep it tidy and out of the way?

  7. if the surface is nice and clead then you can use self adhesive cable tie bases - just stick them on and attach your cables to then using cable ties

    or you could use 'P' clips and fix them with self tappers

  8. they are only small 2mm cables and need to be kept away from moving parts, such as wheels etc. certainly an option though.

    Need to tidy it all up before Brighton Breeze.

  9. cable tie them directly to supports ?

  10. The shell needs to be independent from the framework as it comes off, so needs to be fixed the woodwork somehow. I was thinking a few strips of 2mm ply/hardboard screwed on.
