Love Le mans. Happy for a successful ferrari comeback. Good for the sport. Plus Jensen and the whole G56 thing. Planing to go again in 2025. Was that the Mulsane corner campsite you were in?

We were in Beausejour, a quiet little corner in the woods that’s as close to the track as you can get. Found it in 2018 and it’s not changed, just before Porsche curves, saw loads of action when it suddenly hammered it down with rain on Saturday evening.

Didn’t take many pics cos I’ve taken hundreds similar over the years.

We set off home at 6.30 last night and drove 130 miles till it went dark, stopped in a free car park in Yvtot found on Park4night.
Got up at 4.30 am as we were booked on 8.50 tunnel and another 140 miles to do, made the crossing then came the final 250 mile hop with no drama!
Filled the tank at Tesco in Ashford and got home on that.

All in 1,100 mile round trip in daylight , I’ll have a look into the alternator problem soon, probably!
Other than that the bus is running beautifully, not used or lost a drop of oil and I’ve cured the squeaky brake that’s been annoying previously

  9. That rain changed a lot..
    Lots of cars on slicks,
The accident damage that got back to the pits must have cost £ millions
