  2. Surprised he had the energy to do halve they said - he's in truth a corpulent out of shape in every direction unfit chap.

  3. I wonder if our Jezza will last much longer, TBH. The bloke looks really rough.

I'm glad that the BBC didn't decide to ignore his behaviour just because he's a celebrity and good at presenting.

yeah 'cos the bbc don't hide anything  i think if they thought they could get away with keeping him they would have, i doubt they really cared about the producer - they are going to lose a massive cash cow.

In truth Top Gear was already past it's sell by date, we on here and in other places used to moan that it had become samey and contrived. I liked the show but the last two series we're just plodding on in my opinion, we'd seen it all before, No doubt they will now all go somewhere else together but all we'll say is that it's not like it was, it's not as good and nah they've lost it o_O Oh well that's life innit. move on

If it were you and I, the plebs, we'd be in court on a charge of assault. I hear the cops are considering "if it is neccessary", but it won't happen will it?

It might hinge on whether the producer chap wants to have Jezza charged. I don't think they'd have much trouble with evidence, ie witnesses and evidence of his injuries from A&E. Not sure but I think the CPS can prosecute even without the producer wanting to if it's deemed "in the public interest". If it did go to court I don't for one second think Clarkson would get a custodial sentence, but a bit of community service would be nice, especially if it was on the kind of eco friendly tree hugging project Jezza hates

The thing is, and I don't know the facts either, that because the prog has so many fans they don't want it to stop so the producer more than likely wouldn't press charges cos he would get so much stick-even if it was a valid call. It's crappy bullying behaviour however you look at it.
Another case is the woman who the justice system upheld was raped by the shef utd footballer. He has always maintained his innocence but whatever the truth is, she and her family have had death threats etc and been hounded by angry fans as they've list their best striker.
Maybe one day I shall become a celebrity and rich and famous and as an addition do whatever I want in the chances I may get away with it! :)

  13. I find it difficult to beleive he even took a swing at anyone without overbalancing and falling over the great lumbering twonk. I recon the whole incident was contrived so's gezza and his mates could all leave the BBC and go elsewhere for more dosh.
I do hope we get to see him/them in a new, similar programme though, I enjoyed it immensley and he is my & mr top banana's neighbour.

Those who get hit by a celeb who know it could make them a bundle for their story?

  15. Be interesting to know exactly what the extent of his injuries were. You can do quite a bit of damage in 20 seconds. Probably most of that consisted of pushing and shoving.

And why not eh? Get a bit of criminal injuries compo too if Jezza gets found guilty . No doubt he'll have been getting plenty of abuse via social media from various pond life so good on him I say. Clarkson will survive n thrive no matter what happens.....unless as someone said the fags n crap diet don't get him first......

  17. If truth be known it was just a bit of fun for him , downside is when you take away someones bit of fun, the world comes tumbling in , we shall see huh.

If they prosecute he'll get away with a slap on the wrist anyway; just like anyone else would for a first offence. Don't let that fact get in the way of a good "corporation in cover-up shocker" moan though.

As said previously, the format was dieing on its arse. This was just a big publicity stunt, which a large swathe of our dumb-ass population fell for.

The BBC DG has already opened the doors for JC's return.
