Years ago I used a paint called bell flash on my bros Triumph herald, It sounds like the same stuff, enamel paint. It was a cracking finish and looked like a spray job at first glance. I was younger though and hadn't been off the brush long so to speak.
@Gingerbus has offered to help me fit the Monroe's but I don't fancy putting the power lead out of his flat on the 17th floor, last time the kids on his estate were using it as a zip wire
