Weirdly there isn’t the panic buying of fresh fruit and veg we saw for things like big rolls.


I guess maybe in Waitrose there’s some form of standoff over the last Avocado between Giles and Tamzin, each furiously sharing their truths about the situation on Instagram whilst trying not to appear an oppressive bully to the other.

Whatever the cause, it hasn’t reached Gloucestershire. Just popped into our local Sainsbury’s - loads of cucumbers, eggs, bananas, lemons and 4 different varieties of tomato available. No empty shelves as far as I could see.
Didn’t have my favourite beer though.
