That’s just showing off!

 

fitted check engine light into dash pod

looped the coolant supply to throttle body

made a bracket for the header tank
changed all 4 spark plug seals and valve gaskets including bolt grommets

plumbed some more bits of crankcase stuff...

now ready to fit...awaiting help

spliced the original vw loom into the subaru ecu loom.

this'll enable telltale light on the dash to keep working.

obviously cut through one of the rear light cables so that had to be soldered.

fitted a throttle cable.

plumbed the fuel lines into the tank.

everything is now done.

i just need a lift to get the engine in.

I'm within touching distance.

once the engine is in I just need to join the radiator up.

fill with coolant

fill the gearbox with 80 90 GL4

plug in the engine connectors and see what happens

transmission fluid filled.

all breathers done.

welding areas cleaned up.


hopefully in Thursday.

big trip planned for the 4th july so need to have it back for then

exhaust and lambdas to go, scangauge obd computer fitted too.

i have radiator pipes now in the engine bay,

im fully worked up now and await lifting of said engine tomorrow night to see what happens.

might fit my convex mirrors now ive done this little bump of an engine explosion
