yeh but @lost-en-france we old dinosaurs now inhabit a scene where a lot of people think rough camping is a long walk to the shower block
You camped at places with shower blocks Eh you. Don't know your born When I were a lad we were so poor we had to wash in a bucket of horse *******
Got that too. No protection from the Chingford massive who decided, despite a large field, to camp close to us last weekend. Quite educational ...kids weren't too bad but mother (one of them) really had a vocabulary of basic Anglo Saxon and not much more...
Might I suggest hanging out of the window and shouting "Shut it, you slaaaaaaag". It's the only language they understand.
I have observed this intellectual approach being used in the past and indeed it appeared effective too though it was within the confines of a Police Station and not an open field. One tries to maintain standards you know.
I still carry an army surplus folding shovel in my van for my bathroom needs if the posh option isn't available
I joined the camping and caravanning club this year because I wanted the reassurance of help if I needed it camping on my own with the kids ( mainly in the reversing into a space department ) clean heated shower blocks. kids playgrounds helpful workers and feeling safe at night have been great advantages.
