I think if doing months at a time then motorhome. Hymer was nice. One thing wifey and I did decide is that we didn't like a permanent bed, we prefer the space and then having to make the bed. Also as we are 'young'uns' we can only drive to 3.5T without doing an additional test !
But I think the point is to enjoy the outdoors. Having a bed out all the time is a luxury. And you still have dining space, and more than likely a fiamma awning for outside space.
I always fancied a go in a white plastic palace and fulfilled my ambition this year with a trip to Canada for a few weeks ... T`was GREAT but i now know what i want if i ever contemplate purchase of aforementioned palace , and that`ll be a bed in the back , NOT over the cab . I`m still quite fit but it was a real wriggle to get two up there . Don`t get me wrong , it didn`t detract from the overall enjoyment but it gave us a good idea of what to avoid
So true! I once worked at Canary Wharf and a new health centre opened up with an amazing ozone-purified freshwater (IE no chlorine) pool. I joined for six months on what was then a cut-price introductory offer, still pretty high, but swimming was my fave exercise. Trouble is, my work was so crazily busy that I only managed to go a handful of times. I worked out later that each swim cost me a little over £60!
