    Hey everyone
We seem to always be overloaded with gear that most of the time we need.

Any suggestions that anyone has come up with or seen on how to compact things?

Some things we have just done for this camping season...
    1. Small Helinox camping chairs (really compact away)
    2. Roof rack for keeping Awning (and fingers crossed will take kids pushchair also)

Be great to see other people's small compact ideas :)

Yes. We have been fine without an awning for 5 years. The misses wanted one so the kids can play when wet etc (I just go with it)

I always take way too many clothes and find after a couple of days in the swing Im not that fussed about them being too dirty and your right we do wash them so less is best for sure.

We do this. Normally max of 3/4 days and then do some washing.

all you need is a pair of jeans, wallet, t shirt and beer and a good book or two.

    Forget the rest, enjoy :D

  10. A fifteen quid pop up tent is ideal to bung all your crap into whilst you're not using it and overnight.
I've gone for the Treo therm a rest chairs, similarly tiny & light when folded.
& as described elsewhere, a proper bloke can make a pair of pants last six days with clever use of alternate openings and reversal.

Mrs Bluerustybucket always insists on taking food, we now find it easier to set up camp and then go to the local super market, usually google it before we go to see whats closest.
Did you get a roof rack ?

  12. Does anyone get food delivered to the campsite by Tesco, Sainsburys or the like?

  13. I had to pretend I lived at a house at the end of a road just next to the campsite to get a Chinese delivered, just waited outside

Any ideas for compacting food and of course BEER? Maybe one of those Heineken Kegs from Tesco?

i'm a fine one to talk as my mrs wants to take the kitchen sink BUT you're forgetting these are campervans not motor homes - take less stuff or get a bigger van/trailer.

Beer in a bag. Sounds weird but works a bit like wine in a box. We usually get 10L for about 4 days.
