    I could start another one about my hoover if you’d like? As I don’t actually have any carpet, it probably wouldn’t make particularly interesting reading, but y’know, I clean the car occasionally….

    About 10 miles actually.
    I’m quietly confident :)


    Yes. It works!
    The fuel looked very clean when we pumped some into a jam jar, so hopefully that is one less thing to worry about.

    Going to do a few more miles today, maybe down to the coast with the dog for a walk on the beach. If it all goes horribly wrong, it’ll be back to the drawing board… after I’ve had a little cry!
    But I’m hopeful all is now okay.
    Need to get the first 100 miles done for tappets and head torque.

    I agree…. When the mechanic replaced the pump I assumed we’d be doing decent quality…. At least go better quality the second time around…. But no! :rolleyes:
