I may be missing for a couple of days

I’ve just been reading the twitter feed about water quality you posted on FB. I’m thinking that there is going to be a very long period of recovery from this - once it’s actually over.

 

It's a frightening read, we capped off our rain water tanks well before the fires got close. I'll be installing extra line filters on the pump from the dam and a secondary filter before it enters the house..

The next few days might be horrific, back to 40+*C , high to gale force winds and electrical storms.

 

Hi. I asked you a question about firebreak work, that’s normally done in the winter, by burning off scrub land near populated areas,and how the spreading of fires could have been avoided, but my question seems to have disappeared. So I’ll write it again, because I am interested.Why wasn’t this done.? It’s been done before, apparently, or so I read somewhere.
