I’m never sure where I put stuff!

    I’m sure I’m not alone. I went to look for a part that I thought was in my shed when someone on here asked the other day, but to no avail, however I did find a bag of beetle ignition items I’d been after a few months ago, then I uncovered some Devon cupboard bits I couldn’t find previously, and this morning I remembered where the part I was looking for had gone.

    Is it just me or is this numptyness/disorganisation something we all have?

    Just found my hammer drill i left at a customers 6 months ago...

    I was soooo sure one of the kids took it and had not put it back...

    Glasses, the reader type. I have umpteen sets all over the place including four or five sets with superglued arms or frames but they’re only allowed in the garage. She hates it when I repair all these 99P glasses. Anyway,,, by the time I’ve eventually found a pair and buffed em up a bit so I can actually see through them, I’ve usually forgotten what I was doing in the first place that needed the glasses to do some reading :thinking:

    Went down a cave I dug open about ten years ago. Discovered the passage to be blocked by a collapse, so of course came back out. Talking to caving buddies, they reminded me of the bypass to the collapse that, not only have I'd been through 30 odd times, apparently I'd dug out on my own, I'd also passed over it twice on the last trip in there. Absolutely no recollection of it at all.

    I knew exactly where a 90* rubber manifold elbow was, I could see it in my minds eye but alas it wasn’t there anymore. However whilst searching I found a 2 bow roof rack that I couldn’t find the other day even though I was convinced I’d not sold it , under the tarp’ on the back of the pickup!
