Him and Terry Jones for me. Of course John gave us Basil, and Eric gave us The Rutles ( although that was as much the genius of Neil Innes imho), but always had a soft spot for Palin ( no disrespect to Graham and Gilliam of course)

 

Cleese has too many ex wives feeding off him.

 

Yep, Palin and Jones were the best. Never really liked Eric Idle - a bit too determined to be the rock star, I think, despite having no real talent.
