how's 2011 been for you?

It's been hard. Very hard. But I knew it would be. I know next year will be better. Much better. I'll be spending a lot of time driving and camping in my bus.

How's it been for you hailfrank?

 

2011 has been OK. Can't really complain.

However, I hope 2012 is better

 

A bit up and down for me. Down first, then up. Then down again. Now cruising.

 

More bad than good, Best mate died - bad.Mom died - bad. cat of 18 years died - bad. poorer than ever - bad. got van i always wanted - good. met new friends - good. decided life is still worth living thanks to the brief time i've had in the van scene, so if i've met you and we've had fun cheers, here is to a long friendship.

 

well I had set about a big year at begining but all we very pear shape once again but last 6 weeks have made it all worth while

I got my van back on road



my girlfriend gave birth to our 2nd child bailey



and finally got the news i was looking for from hospital I am cancer free which is a big relief and get my new teeth on 1st november as currently my new born has a crumb of a tooth more than me and hopefully got a couple of business ventures that may take off oh and back on latebay how can i forget so a very bad year has been very good in end

 

it been along time 2007 intially spent a few days in shock but once letter waqs sent started sinking in

 

I cant say the word I want so I'll just say its been POO ....

There have been a few good things - but the negatives out weigh all the positives

 

Can't think of anything especially good or bad - but generally feel quite content so I guess I'd say it's a good year.

 

Had a great show season ;D every thing else this year was marmite

 

2011 will be remembered as the year of the breakdowns and for being very expensive (not all related to breakdowns). I'm hoping next year calms down a bit as we never seem to have our heads above water at the moment!

 

Its been a good year for us on the whole. Business was tough for first few months, costs and expenses rocketed, but our prices were static, so it all came out of our pocket. But we have now been able to have the much needed price increase, and the past 3 months we have been pulled out. We sold out 3 nights last week.

We bought our first bus this year, with the final bit of money from the Divorce( only took 10 years) thats two good points for the year. No more 'EX' marmite to contend with any more.

My little lad started school this year and is doing great. neatest handwriting in the class, not bad for a keggy-handed boy!

Mainly though, we have all been fit and well , and the arrival of our bus and all that goes with it has made us all smile a lot. what more can we ask for

 

I can't believe I am about to say this but 2011 has been totally cruel. The first 6 months were great and I never thought I'd go through what I did but I came out the other side stronger and I didn't resort to alcohol which I so easily could have done.

Then I sold the 2 Peugeot's (totally materialistic) but they were little joys of mine.

But things maybe getting better. I've had some fun even though 2 people haven't but there accident has given me a project that has taken my mind of things (thanks Jen n Rich )

 

Not the worst, not the best.

 

very hard for me also, in and out of hospital, still on-going, not working as ive taken a career break.

Nothing but difficulties this year

 

Overall not great - got my van which was great. Business frustrating, like most people at the moment, working harder for less money.
Most of the good stuff overshadowed by Father-in Law dying last month and because of the circumstances having to wait for an inquest which is upsetting my wife big-time.
