I’ve worked in the steel works a few times doing plumbing stuff - does that count as proper womens work?

  6. Cunny is my nickname from school days and 44 is the age I was when I started on this forum in 2014 (one of the previous statements is a blatant lie)

    77 Westy Supporter

I bought the bus at the end of 2007 and stumbled across TLB a couple of years later so probably joined in 2009. 77 Westy obviously because the bus is a 77 Westy.

  15. Can you imagine a modern Gen X-er in a steelworks?

They'd be so shocked by the carbon footprint of a ladle of molten steel, they'd probably have to take a mental health day off to recover.

  20. Lazy Andy

    Lazy Andy Supporter

My parents called me Andrew, which I rebelled against in around 1993 and took on the creative pseudonym “Andy” (albeit there were other more creative / less complimentary nicknames knocking around at the same time)

About 2007-08 my side hustle (as these things are now called) was VW based illustrations which is was selling as cards and pictures under the “Lazy Daze” moniker.

In an act of pure genius I combined Lazy and Andy when I joined VZI in the early noughties and had a funky little avatar of a single cab split combined with the Plain Lazy logo… which I have since lost somewhere!
