How long have you had your username and what’s the significance?

Day is short for Damon, it's also what my friends called me at school.

 

When we travel in a bus, we have 7 monkey travelling companions. 20 years now.

Coda is a musical term, signified by a crossed circle. That is also what you see when looking down a sniper rifle's scope. Back in the 90's when I needed a 'handle' I was a musician, and a lot of my free time was spent playing first-person shooters (almost always as a sniper). I thought it was quite clever at the time

 

Well quite a long time really. I'd like to change it to the name of my bus if I could - Sterk Blatjang. It means Hot Chutney in Afrikaans. I used it as my alter ego when I saw a bottle of it in SA. (My wife is a saffo). It seemed fitting to give the name to the bus as he's a saffo too. So what do you think mods, can I change it? Pretty please.

 

After 50 years in the steel/metals industry, a significant part of the time supervising/managing in the melting shop I thought it was quite suitable.
