There’s a plant in Burton on Trent, I wasn’t joking earlier.

    Gloworm for the win?!

  4. Definitely. If the competition is “ who makes a boiler most likely to spring a leak in the most awkward place on the boiler possible“

Oh I like to add that I popped out to an ERP Greenstar on friday with a water leak. Its five years old, and about three months out of warranty. There is a soppy little rubber seal in the boiler thats leaking. Ive not priced it up yet but my guess is its about a fiver. Worcester have quoted the customer a minimum of £300 to repair it. What a delightful company.

  8. There should be a whole sticky thread on TLB
    For boiler and heating disorders
They seem to have as many breakdowns
    As volksies :D
@rustbucket could do a section on which boiler is best
    I’ve been unlucky with them
I had a new house with a suprema
Fitted that went wrong in a year
    PCB or something,

then I bought a gloworm for the house that I live in now
And I have learnt what F11 code means
Because it constantly reminds me :)

  10. My vote would be Worcester every day .
My own is a Worcester and in 18 years I've only had to replace the electrodes which is service item anyway..
All boiler makes have there downside,I have found over the years that there cheaper the boiler the more you spend on parts.
