Foo Fighters were great. I wonder if they turn up here again, in my town, like they did last time. Their album ‘Concrete and Gold’ was named from the ‘Cheese and Grain’ from their last suprise appearance there.
My lad is there at the moment. Told me which flag to look out for ( to be honest those bloody flags get on my thruppennies ). I didn’t bother to watch the Monkeys, my son bought me their latest CD a couple of months ago. To me every song sounded the same and Alex Turner’s voice just grated. Have enjoyed some of the sets I’ve seen. Sparks set was ace, worth it just for Ron Mael’s dancing, and Russell’s voice is holding up pretty well for a bloke in his mid 70s.
Arctic monkeys i thought were very poor ....Monotone and very boring ..sorry fans of them . Enjoyed the power of the F fighters .
Watched a bit last night. Gave up on Arctic Monkeys as it was a bit slow and I was tired so recorded it instead. Maybe the last bit got quicker? liked the Foo Fighters, Gabriel’s, a few bands that did one song whose names I’ve forgotten. Fave was Sparks
I think had I been there Louis Cole, who I’d never heard of before yesterday, on the West Holts stage, man what a band he had, and Sparks would have been the ones I’d want to see. Zero interest in the Pyramid headliners tbh. I think Lizzo will be good though, even if she is on the Pyramid
Arctic monkeys bored me last night... seen them headline there in 2013 and it was phenomenal compared to last nights slow pace. Gabriels on the West Holts Stage were absolutely Phenomenal!!!!!! Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Artic monkeys reminded me of Vic and Bob’s pub singing - they need to get out of LA… Fred Again’s set I enjoyed muchly this morning on iPlayer and turned it up to drown out the children’s moaning….
Any tips for successful booking? We haven’t been since 2005 but I’ve tried getting tickets for my lad previous years, never had much luck. Didn’t get any this year but he got some through friends of his. Is it even on next year? We just like the idea of taking our daughter as she’ll be 14 then, about the same age as when we took my son.
