Agree, she was awful. These old folks get wheeled out (sometimes literally) and a load of sleep deprived, drunk or worse individuals think it’s great, well it’s not great. I hope they watch it back on IPlayer, when they are sober, and realise that they have been fleeced of £300 notes. I’m sure the folks at the BBC will be fawning over this performance, but surely it’s about time we called out some of these old timers and just recognise that whilst they have given us great music in the past they are not doing their legacy any good by continuing to turn up and take the money.
People understand this and go to enjoy the moment. Just because they’re old and past their prime doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate their longevity and what it takes to get up and do their thing at that age!
My Mum is of a similar age to the legends. Bless her, I struggle to get her to go shopping, let alone stand up and do their thing in front of a massive live audience, not to mention the global masses watching on TV. Yes, they were off key, yes they were better when I was a lad but... I having nothing but absolute respect!
My 20 yr old son is enjoying the rap artist that is currently shouting unintelligible stuff from my tv on the pyramid stage. me not so much

To think people actually missed out on the pet shop boys to watch this. staggering He’s wearing a crown of thorns. After an hour of this being nailed to a cross seems infinitely more preferable.
Im by no means a Pet Shop Boys fan, but they are proving to be the best act I have seen this Glasto. And only one of them has turned up.
