I thought Macca was top notch for 80. I thought his voice was the best it’s been in last decade

  5. glastonbury has changed massively in just the 10 times I've been.. the once awe and love of the place seems really weird this year...

anyway, i ABSOLUTELY loved Macca to see Bruce too.. incredible, the sound mixing and instruments and production is genuinely unrivalled and that i loved.

my music taste is eclectic and all over the place, last night I was so happy id managed to hear those iconic songs played loud in a field.. similar to seeing the stones there in 2013!

the crowd absolutely loved it and to be honest he had some great chat and took the mick of himself...

Billie Eilish was a good watch and thats as close as I've gotten to the pyramid stage this weekend.

I've spent alot of time in the greenfields and its so beautiful up there not sure many even appreciate that.

Was out last night, so missed Paul McCartney on the telly, but I'm sure it'll be on catch-up and I'll watch it then for sure.
From comments, I assume Bruce Springsteen got up and joined him on stage? A 'return the favour' appearance from when Macca leapt up to join Springsteen in Hyde Park 10 years ago? (Now that was a classic moment) Hope no one turned the mics off on them last night though?! ;)

  7. bruce was awesome, dave grohl too!

they started the set at 2135 and finished about 1215 so I'm not sure how much the bbc will show... but it was honestly really enjoyable..

sometimes stood with my eyes shut just listening to the sounds of such familiar songs.

For the first time in donkey’s years we haven’t watched much of it. Put Billie Eilish on but wanted to commit Harree Karree after about 10 minutes!

Food at Glastonbury? The first time I went... there wasn't any, or maybe there was one stall that had sold out lunchtime first day. Beer? Nope. Just nothing.
Next year there was a square of stalls with about 6 stalls of which maybe one sold food which ran out immediately. Then again you could camp in the main field and watch the bands from your tent. So different now.
Haven't watched any of it, seems like granddads and young 'uns I've never heard of.

Watched Rob plant as he’s always good. Did anyone else spot the Wolves scarf? He’s a huge Wolves supporter, although I did see him up the Harriers against West Ham in the cup supporting our local club.

  17. Has anyone ever taken their bus? I believe there used to be a field for campers/motor homes. I haven’t been since 94. But I’m fairly sure you bought you admission ticket and then bought a camper pass???

I took the Landmark in 2015. We left on the Monday and I had agreed with Sarah she would start the journey home as I was drinking Sunday nigh. Sarah said I had to drive across the fields out as she hated changing gears. As we got onto a proper road we stopped at some traffic lights and jumped out to swap driver. As I ran round I heard a voice from above saying that was better than Le Mans driver change! I looked up to see a copper smiling at me :)
