Gas and Electricity prices

Yes Painting is very enjoyable but I have been doing nothing but painting for the last 2 yrs (joys of owning 4 houses) so its lost its fun a bit.

measure your window apeture, buy frame , take to glaziers ask for double glazed unit to be made to fit , tell glazier NOT to fit , collect, take home, remove existing window and fit frame then glass , award yourself part for your bus as you have just saved a wallop of dosh ! (i did 13 windows in my previous house ) savings ?trully awesome , skill level? akin to removing /refitting a bay engine , buy book on building technical skills 1st if unsure , for example sill should be damproofed, etc etc >it is not rocket science, perhaps you may have a builder mate who will advise/help? c"mon , you are a bus owner !!!!

 

Square, level and upright!! That's about it. Few glazing tricks but that's about it

 

or/and , plum true and square, yeah ,never a truer word/statement !!!!cos if it ain"t !!!

 

Gas and electricity prices?! You ain't seen nothing yet. Russia. Remember Russia. Remember the Russian gas crisis in Ukraine a few years ago? I do. I was there. Thousands died in Ukraine that winter because they didn't have gas. Russia just turned it off. Sure, you can argue that's because Ukraine didn't pay their bills on time. But cutting off gas in the depths of winter, knowing that thousands are going to die? That's not very nice. A tad extreme I'd say. Then again, that's Russia for you. Russia cares for nothing more than profit. Profit comes before life over there. And over the last few years, they've began supplying more and more gas to Europe. Reeling in Europe, slowly but surely. Most of the gas now comes from Russia. As the song goes: 'there may be trouble ahead'. Actually, there ain't no 'may' about it.

 

right again Baydreams , as a wedge of the leckie is now supplied by France, oh , and on radio today , food prices are going up AGAIN. and, when geezer from whatever elec co who has just increased their prices was asked by interviewer " you are billing the customers for the improvements in supply system, whatever happened to taking a cut in shareholder profit ?"answer >"totally blanked" so it was reasked> geezer said , "yes, customers will pay , no cut to shareholders profit" its the capitalist way which we all accept by deign of living/voting here and diamond dave " FEELS OUR PAIN "( so thats alright then !)
