  5. anyway....back to the front mudflaps....is there any value in nibbling out a top corner so they conform to the shape of the van?
I merely expressed an opinion. Should the collective wish to challenge my opinion I await their response. Until such time I stand by my original assertion

  6. Im gonna screw them into the top hat section part of the rear of the wheelarch I think. Nice and simple and then my tyres will probably rub on them . Whats not to like!

I'm not going to get in a mud flap over this and therefore table bracket a motion to side step out.

  8. will you put chains on them like the old school rally cars, so you don't rip them off when reversing?;)

  9. nice!:D

  10. tbh this only applies to proper mudflaps that almost touch the floor....

  11. if anyone's thinking to make their own this place does big ones cheap

Behind the tophat/jacking point would be better, but it does look a bit naff.

  15. There is a guy on the samba who put some on cut and shaped to the curvature of the side of the bus. Can't find the picture now though

  16. it makes sense from a 'looks' point of view...just wondered whether it'd offer more protection

a lot of the og front flaps for cars come fairly high up the wheel arch....

maybe it's more to do with body taper...I don't think a bus would have the same problem*

*note to self: must get out more:D

Mine are a bit like that and the bit traps the mud against the outer skin. I will chop them so it doesn't.
