  2. Thanks Tyke... although I have to say I'm only at the start of my fabricating journey; there's peeps on here who are sooo much better than me, but practice makes perfect!

  3. I’m not a great welder but I learned a lot taking on the windscreen surround. It was out of my depth at the time but I picked up some pointers on YouTube and forums. Basically I had been welding too cold for many years. Since then I have continued to improve by raising my standards and trying more difficult repairs and trying to produce complex details in places that are less important. Some repairs are nicer than functional requirements, but I attempted them to try out new techniques and improve.
