the Beeb commentators expected Red Bull to reconcile with Renault or Bernie to bash heads together and get Ferrari to provide an A-spec engine.

Instead of supplying a B-spec engine, why don't they agree a time delay on the provision of upgraded engines... for instance, customer teams get upgrades to races later than the parent team? or vice versa, provide the customer team with the upgraded engine and get them to weasel out the reliability issues for two races!

All those rules and regulations for the cars and a shonkey old Russian truck screws the whole thing up. Typically Russian. It amazes me that they have nukes and cruise missiles and havent managed to innihalte themselves yet! Id love to see their health and safety regs!

I know a guy who works at Cosworth(they are about 4 miles from my house!) and he said about 3 years ago they were designing an engine for the latest regs .
Unfortunately it was put on hold due to a lack of major manufacturer backing and Cosworth certainly can't afford to develop it themselves

New regs are going to limit power to a total of 1000bhp for both engine and hybrid system. Porsche are currently running about double that.

Still can't see them putting an F1 team in.
