If someone threw a hat at you wouldn't you be a bit *******ed and though it back. If Hamilton took it over and passed it across then I suspect the outcome would be different. Hamilton is a bit to big for his boots.

You don't see others acting the way he does and I think he tries to hard to be liked at times.

 

I'm just happy to have a 3 times British world champ he doesn't have to be perfect, Shuey and Prost were arses as well, maybe you need a bit of something to be a multiple winner!

 

Didn't see that on highlights, what hat throwing?

 

Just read others posts now see a bit of what happened, sounds like high jinks or just not thinking straight with winning a third title.

 

Schumacher I agree, Prost was nothing but a gentleman (from what I saw in the McLaren garage).

 

I don't agree with him being too big for his boots - he has come through the ranks the hard way - most of the others ( perhaps even all of them) have rich/influential families behind them - Hamilton's dad had 3 jobs to pay for his karting etc - Rosberg is a typical spoilt brat in his attitude with the upstart Hamilton upstaging him all the time ( don't forget that Rosberg was trouncing Schumacher in his first 2 seasons at Mercedes)

 

Its always been a bit "handbags" between Hamilton and Rosberg though hasn't it...Hamilton has spat his dummy out when it hasn't gone his way before now.... it is a bit cringey admitably, but a bit of rivalry makes for entertaining viewing on the track. I don't think Hamilton meant to push Rosberg off on the first corner, just went in a bit to hard... was certainly the best race of the season so far anyway!

 

I've probably got it wrong but just recall Senna not being to enamoured with Prost

 

It was a mutual thing. Senna was as driven as Prost & Ron Dennis would not impose team orders.
Senna, too, was also a gentleman & very different away from the track.

 

Hamilton and Rosberg have been racing each other since they were 13, more than half their lives, so a bit of hat throwing?

 

Blown out of all proportion by the media.

 

I just watch the race and don't care What happens before and after as it's the race that matters but I'm a simple folk.

 

Just seen a clip of the cap throwing incident - Rosberg was seated looking glum and Hamilton was standing at the table a few paces away - he picked up the 2 caps and put one on and gently tossed the other into Rosberg's lap - he promptly threw it back - he was obviously totally *******ed off with 2nd place not Hamilton

 

one thing we f1 fans haven't really mentioned is the red bull engine saga, do we think they will be out next year? i'm thinking yes to be fair, they don't have much time until the start of 2016 to get the stuff sorted in the next chassis.... i belive the cut off they have told bernie is mid november to pull out...

 

They have apparently designed 4 different chassis for next year, depending on the power unit.
Doesn't look good for next year.

 

I think they'll be with Renault.

 

I agree, they'll have a Renault engine... I suspect there's a clever lawyer there who wouldn't have severed the contractual link completely.
