In my head I feel young most of the time. However, as my body aches also most of the time that makes me feel old physically :)

I was saying the same thing to my neighbour, Mr Pastrami-on-Rye-Easy-On-The-Mayo the other day.

  11. ....totally agree, I'm still in my 20's mentally but my body is defiantly almost 60 - the arthritis is the killer, can't do "spannering" for more than an hour before my hands give up and I start dropping things :(

  19. According to official bodies ie NHS I'm aged . Don't quite feel it despite nudges from the Grim Reapers best friend, numerical age only really impinges when well known individuals within my age group slip off the conveyor...:(

  20. Make the most of life ... it could be worse you could have just had a hip replacement or similar at 52, I'm quite lucky to only have had one, worse happens to other people. Not being able to put your socks on or tie your shoes that's getting old. Actually now its done I'm back to walking pain-free and just back in from walking 4 miles through the country with the dog.

Craig from Strictly ... yes he had his hip done but it was only a resurfacing.
