Feeling old or young

No not buttocks.....

I'll be 41 this yaer, and I don't feel it.. Helpos that I don't look it either, if I have a proper shave I look like a schoolboy.

I think bavck to when my parents were this age and they seemed old( well, middle aged and parenty) and had done lots of adulty stuff like owning houses and businesses and being responsible.
I feel like really I could still be 25

i went to a funeral with my mum for one of her brothers ,all her other brothers and sisters were there ,all in their 60's/70's ,she kept saying to me ,do I look as old as everyone else ? i kept saying older..

I do look at myself an still think I am 21 ...

I think ailments make you feel older sometimes, I'm 48 this year, still as childish is ever and have no intention of acting my age but my knees are buggered and that annoys me cos I'm not looking forward to it getting worse (which it obviously will) they say age is just a number but try telling that to the worn out bits lol

 

Don't worry Rick about your knees, I've a friend who at 55 has had new ones fitted he's as good as new, he wished he'd had it done sooner

 

My mrs brother had his done and can barely walk.... So I hope you're right
