I know a few of us are fans and just wondered if you have your plans for the 10 races that are not on BBC live in full this year, i've been researching and it seems some live internet feeds may be available but could be dodgy and poor plus obviously illegal, however i've found tonight a totally legal and cheap way to get the races. RTL Germany have the races live and free to air until 2018 and you can pick this up on an old Sky dish and a freesat decoder, i have both so i'm going to see the T.V guy in the village and see if he will come and allign the dish for me this is the technical stuff which means bugger all to me but i'm assured it will work.

would be interested what your plans are, to clarify if you didn't know Sky give the F1 channel free to the subscribers of sports or HD if you don't have sports you can have the basic package and HD it for £10 extra then get F1, Virgin will only give you F1 if you take the full sports package.

  4. got sky sports so im all set

check out my other business www.finallap.net for all things F1 memorabilia, we can even find you a good used F1 car 8) ;)

  5. I plan to watch every race in glorious HD on the new sky channel. We already had the HD package so are pleased they added this without further charge. We wouldn't have paid the extra. With MB moving to sky too I guess the coverage will be the best out there. It's a shame though as the beeb were doing such a great job
    :)

I have a unused sky dish and a multi sat decoder so might give it a go and the good lady wants some french language channels.

looks like a job this weekend (maybe).

  9. I was gutted when I found out that BBC had lost some of the races, then over joyed when Sky said that the channel was free to those with HD ;D but I can totally understand why so many people are not happy

  10. Thanks Ricky. Good research. I'm going to stick with the highlights and judge how the races are from there. Half of the "watching" for me is in the commentary and build-up. If the extended highlights include the whole race then that's fine by me.

  13. I work in F1 so the more people who watch it the better O0. Seriously though, I was dissapointed when the BBc lost the coverage; they were always the best at it.

    finished?
ta, anyway i'll let you all know if it works, will of course have to have 5 live on for commentary as RTL is German. Will still watch BBC for all i can and i belive they will be having the forum after highlights etc but i will miss the build up they were doing a great job before they lost it.

no mate, 10 races live and as was before with all build up and practice 10 with either 60 or 90 minute highlights.

  19. I'll be watching in the pub. It's free, sort of. You have to buy at least one drink!
