Sell it now Bern while it's still worth selling. This time next year you'll not be able to give it away.
I can not imagine one reason in the world why I would want to drive through central London, or any where in London for that matter. £24 sounds like a bargain that I will never pick up. Tony
On the plus side, there should be an excellent supply of cheap tdi engines to stick in your bus now.. Who wants to drive round cities anyway... Let's just hope they don't put the price of Diesel up to £20 a litre
I drive a diesel but don't own it so don't really care, shant be getting another though when this goes back. I'd get the train to London anyway
The LEZ already fines, taxes, call it what you may on older diesels I can understand them increasing the standard. I cannot see why, except cost of course,, that all buses that enter or operate within a city are not gas or methane powered surly that would lower the level of particulates and nitric oxides. It doesn't need scientists to show you how diesel pollutes, have a look at any snowfall and if it last longer than a day it is lined in soot, particulates. Also when wet and drizzly the black deposits on the car sills are particulates. Am I against diesel no not at all, I drive two diesel powered vehicles as a Taxi driver and often enter London into the LEZ. I purchased them to give me economy but if and when I change them I will go petrol.
I don't go to London these days as the air is very noticeably bad. My son works in London and has developed asthma now and he may need to give up the London job. Its a serious matter in the large cities and folks are being affected by the diesel particles and the high levels of nitrogen oxides. The dirty air sticks to the snot in your nose and blowing your nose in London gives black snot. Try it for yourselves or better not go there.
It's the future Don't ask but it's what's under the bonnet of a Nissan Leaf My son in law swapped it for his Subaru Impreza Yes honestly
Noone remember what the air in London was like in the 70s? These days, it's fresh as a daisy by comparison.
And black it was. After a good walk around London as a lad, you used to get a handkerchief full of soot. London's a great place
Think the answers is a fortune. found this on the web... After a few phone calls to Nissan's EV Customer Service Group and a visit with our service manager at the local dealership we found out that Nissan will finance the battery replacement through NMAC, but the maximum allocation is $5,500. Our dealership estimated the total cost at $6,400 or so; hence, we're looking at a "down payment" of 900 or so and some change and then payments of roughly $100 for 60 months.
I expect the whole car will be shipped Out to Ghana or India for environmentally safe Recycling With all the other stuff we no longer want or has expired it's use
Bit of a mess this hounding out Diesels. I have an 2 year old Audi A4 S-Line 2.0 TDI. This car produces 106g/km of CO2 (apparently!) the same petrol version produces 132g/km. I have no idea what it really means other than that my diesel produces less CO2 than the petrol version!
Check if you r Diesel is Euro 6 compliant. Diesels are an easy target. With this Government if you are an easy target you are screwed.
