Covering your steering wheel in string

40 posts on & I'm still trying to figure out why you want to wrap your steering wheel in string?
Is there a sensible reason or is it just due to the strange weather you've been having over there?

Thank you Dog, I understand now. I didn't realise it was on a rat, a couple of friends have done it on their beetles. 8)

That does look Jason Kewl better than I first thought it might look. You could do all sorts with different colours like those Scooby-Do's we all had in the 80's.

 

This is getting me thinking...

The black rubber is coming off mine so this could be a possibility. A lot of string though.

The vans not a Rat, but more Tat. it's just at the moment we can't bring ourselves to part with £300 for a banjo steering wheel when the list of jobs is still so long. We've got the camper interior almost finished. Just electrics, seats, gas,water, paint, lowering, and wheels to go. Engines done haha
