Sorry mate but if you dont agree it was a disgrace you dont watch a lot of rugby:
    Our tackling was poor
Our passing the ball through the line was appalling
Matt Stevens particularly gave away too many penalties
The rest of the tram gave away too many penalties.
Manu Tuilagi was the only player to show any passion.
England had a 50+ kg advantage in the scrum and didnt use it.
Johnno has had his chance. Great player in his day but no good as a coach.
Our players seem to think that pulling on an England shirt is a right rather than a priviledge.

  2. I don't want to fall out over this but yes I do watch a lot of rugby , on tv and live at Cambridge, Cambridge University, and at Saints have played and coached since I was 11. I just disagree that it was ' a disgrace ' and just to make sure I watched it through again.

In any game of two teams you have to give credit to the winning team for forcing the other team out of their stride , out of their comfort zone out of the way they want to play. Credit to France. To lose to that team is no disgrace ( in my opinion )

Im looking forward to the semi finals and final but even more I am looking to spend Saturday and Sunday mornings with Adelaide my beautiful bus rather than the tv. I may not get the last word but it's my last word.

For sure - afterall - this England team are a likeable bunch of lads, I can see how any neutral would take to them, win loose or draw....

Thats got nothing to do with it. The Welsh couldnt bring themselves to cheer for England if the whole team acted like saints.

Mate - I've lived in England for 19 years and have never once heard a cheer for Wales - even when we were playing France.

I can only speak for myself, but I was happy enough with England winning the World Cup in 2003 because at least you could respect that team, and the way they dominated opposition - even if they were a bit boring.

If you want to know how lost England are - google James Haskell - also know and Brand Haskell (I kid you not).

Plainly the second generation of professional England Rugby player is pretty lost with where he is in the pecking order of things.

  12. As long as we beet the English is like one of our motto's. :D
It never gets nasty or anything just banter.
In our club there is a Saes (English) who comes in with his English top on, he cheers right loud for England. Everyone jokes about smashing his face in etc. but nobody has really been nasty to him. Its all a bit of harmless banter.
Our second most hated team is the French so we got to beat the Frogs next! ;)

I'll be cheering for Wales on saturday, as will pretty much everyone in our local at a rough guess.
(Well, we're not going to cheer for the French are we!!!)
