Thankyou, that really means a lot. We're hoping it will turn out ok and in time for our wedding in September! The plan is to use it for our honeymoon but there is still so much more to do!

Thanks, yes only a small amount to get it ready for MOT and registration. The interior should be fun to do but I might leave that till next year when the bank balance has recovered a bit!!

Thanks, yes the small bits that we didn't really think about certainly are adding up, but as I'm doing everything myself (apart from the bodywork & engine) its only parts ive got to buy..

Excellent, I love a great big TLB wedding, what's the exact date and time so we can all attend en-mass. :)

Thanks, yeah I've already pumped loads of Bilt Hamber S-50 into all the box sections. It's great stuff but not very pretty, so planning on using their clear 'UC' wax on top of the shiny green paint. I'm thinking that it'll be easier to spot any new outbreaks of....dare I say it?....rust!

  13. Superb looking bus & love the attention to detail and keeping the original FI system is a great idea. What a lovely bus.

    Been back in the workshop...
I had a go at fitting the new alternator. I couldn't fit it when I started fitting the engine tin ware 'cos I didn't realise the alternator didn't come with a pulley! it should have for the price I paid! So the old one was cleaned up and powdercoated and fitted along with the bracket. I also stripped of the old loom sleeve and made a new cover
