so are you serious i can flat and lacquer it. Also i need to fill any tiny dents before powder coat as it is in quite good order
I dunno, im assuming you can flat and laquer it. Zed or weeding would know. Dont think you can fill it before powdercoat. They blast it back to bare metal then coat it. Cos the powdercoat doesnt stick to filler.
I love the fact that it looks so shiny and perfect in pictures, whereas in reality it's a bit rubbish really but I do love the colour and when money allows he'll be reprinted again in the same colour.
been today to take in other bumper and he is still dipping the first one as it has so much paint on it and it removes one coat every dip but no extra charge, i rang the poder coater today to check it was only £20 each as i thought i heard it wronge ,but yes £20 each
got bumpers back today and delivered to powder coaters waiting now for the rail colour Also he said the wheels are twenty five pounds each @sANDYbAY
That's good to know, I'll be touting my wheels to the local powder coasters around here sometime next week. Now I've got a figure to work with. Is £25 for blasting as well?
i had mine dipped by dip and strip in romford and striped for a week took them 4 or 5 dips to get all paint off and charged me twenty pound a bumper
