Does anybody know whether when you get your bumpers powder coated whether it has To be only one colour I quite fancy a yellow strip through the middle to match the colour of my van

i will get the nearest to the roof what they have but dont think it will be a vw colour

Because if it was that would be a good price. I think you'll find if you do want a genuine colour, they'll charge you for a kg or powder which makes it a non-starter.

 

of course but i will not be to fussed if its off white i will be happy as its not near the roof, also will find out for all what colours they do

Problem with powder coat is that all imperfections will show, all dents and pitting etc. you need 100% straight bumpers..

Also the finish compared to paint isn't quite as good, it's got more of an orange peel to it and not as glossy.
Could flat it and lacquer it though.

But it's twice as hard and half the price

 

And he's NOT joking!
