bumpers

    has anyone had the bumpers powder coated and can they be powder coated in any colour as i have just sent mine to dip and strip.?:thumbsup:

    Powder coat can be done in any RAL colour (and I'd guess any non RAL colour too).

  4. You can get powder coat done in all sorts of colours but if its not a ral or bs colour it will cost more

    Be a hardier finish than paint I'd imagine.

    also just rang up and twenty pound to powder coat in cream going there mon:) @Barneyrubble

    I'm sure @kenregency won't mind a quick thread hijack. :)

    Does anyone know how the rubber strips are held onto the bumpers. It's the long black ones that fit around the bumpers in that groove where the bolts go.
     
  16. Theres little clips on the end the hook over then are tensioned if memory serves me right

  18. Spot on as always @paradox, mine are tensioned with 3 or 4 mm Allen headed bolts.

    So it's not fastened or glued along its length then, but just pulled tight?
