17.5 is about as low as you can go with tiles. Anything less than that it's decra style stuff very expensive.
We’ve got a flat roof on our extension. It has a false pitch on the front to look nicer from the street. I can’t remember what new fangled type is was but at one point the architect, roofers, builders and manufacturers rep were all up there shouting at each other The builders and roofers said they would never use it again!
@Kevinthedog You can buy Marley’s that will go to 11 degrees but there expensive and you have to board the roof with shuttering ply for wind flex and snow loading I think? trying to remember the last one I did.
If you go lower than 22.5 they look flat at that size of building. Got to think what you want to be left with
It’s hardboard then a kind of rubber skin on top. We’ve got a roof light/window as part of the kitchen extension is under the flat roof.
Theirs a firm called Trojan roofing that specialise in the rubber coating stuff they do airports n alike , a pitchedroof would be more appealing to a plumbers wallet and you would have more storage for your excess
I couldn’t recall what it’s properly called @jivedubbin and @crossy2112, fret not, it’s not rubbish old hardboard!
I seem to be very slow this week I didn't realise it was you @geordie When's this name changing thing going to stop it's confusing the f##k out of me.
