  1. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

I had a nice Westy that was usually on the road, but it had all the lower repairs eventually.
And 3 more UK vans that needed it all doing.
And one from California that didn't need much in the way of bodywork and consequently has been much more fun to own despite the ups and downs.

  2. Mine was I'm imported and converted by Devon then exported to France & is LHD.
What does that make me; confused... o_O

I was lucky, I bought it a mile from my home in Donny, Well it wasn't luck coz I had my eye on it for two years and got to know the owner in that time so I was first in line when the time came

Like Dave says, it's not unmolested, it was when I bought her but I had her resprayed and the Devon interior was shot so I did put a new one in, Like we all know Devon interiors were made from cardboard :)

  8. Ours in a UK 72 bus. Originally a Devon conversion. It has had loads replaced. It's saving grace was a really solid chassis. Took 3 years to restore.

  9. Ours was registered in '75 in Bristol and bought by a family who live a couple or streets away from my parents.

They used it for family trips all over Europe before selling it to me 7/8years ago.

Still got the lovely Devon interior proving they haven't all disintegrated yet.

Still in Bristol and still Orange

  10. @WoodyLubber I know similar discussions have been had but it seems most newbies have a left hooker and it just seems to me to be coming more and more prevalent. If I wanted to drive on the wrong size then it's a cheaper way in really. Think I'd have it converted to rhd myself but then again folk seem to like to keep em original which is fair enough.

@Dicky I was just replying to Ricks post and in general because I was tagged in it, other wise I wouldn't have commented. Like I said earlier, I don't really have anything new to say and like you said, these discussions have been had before
