  1. Here's to the future dude, wishing you and your son all the best :)

  2. Dont let anyone stir you up , its great you want to stay amicable , children are ok as long as you BOTH are ,he will adapt and be quite happy if he sees you are both happy. Good luck it might just make all of your lives alot better in the end ,sometimes life has a reason. Good luck col and well done so far. Try and resist the booze if you can it will throw your emotions all ove the place and not good for son .

  5. Again thank you everyone for your kind words. She has now gone. Very odd seeing her leave.

I'm a tough cookie, what doesn't break you makes you stronger. It's sad that it had to end but things haven't been right for a while. At least now I may finally get laid, it's been far too long. Lol

The bus was off the road for work but that is now going to have to go on the back burner as she has taken her car (obviously). I need wheels man.

  7. ... well done. It makes you feel physically sick doesn't it, having to say those things to someone you've been with for 9 years. For what it's worth, if you've both not been happy then this could all work out well. As everyone has said, stay friends if you can. My wife of 12 years, partner of 16 years, seems to be still a friend despite her having an affair and her moving out. Hell, we even went for a drink after work together tonight!

There will still be very tough times ahead: jealousy and probably arguments once you both start thinking back about things. It can't be helped. But just think about your kid and as long as she does the same then you'll find arguments fizzle out.

She took the car as well but fortunately my camper is drivable! Bonus in a way! Although she did then sell the family car and bought herself an Audi convertible! Nice car actually.

On the plus side: I'm about to order myself a curry to be delivered, then I'm going online on the PS3 to play with a mate and after watch a bit of TV. Lie in tomorrow!!
