This is so sad , the fact it's happening is awful i really feel for you at this moment , the fact we are witnessing it and reading our friends posts as he goes through one of life's worse scenarios is almost ghoulish , do the right thing Col , stay calm and listen do not do anything you might regret bud , Just listen to her , tell her to go if you have to but stay calm !

you'd be surprised how many of us have been along similar paths - yes you are right in staying calm, its a must where kids are concerned. Post away & get it off your chest - there are many ears here who will answer you & listen/advise
there is so much i cant say though just in case. But its nice to know that your there as an ear. Thank you one and all. Hopefully it is not too painful, its all the rest that follows that sucks. But as they say, as one door shuts another one opens (Apparently)
Hope it goes ok - no advice I can give that hasn't been given. Trying to keep calm and not lose it is the big one.
