  2. Hows it going guys. Anyone come up with any new arguments or still all furiously agreeing.

Ive given up caring. Votes happened and nowt i can really do about it. I lost. Hope they don't screw it up but it won't be my fault, i have the luxury of being able to say...well done guys, you were right when it all goes well or thanks guys, youve really screwed up when it all goes down the pan.

But seriously folks... it is now, us and them as theres no way we will get a good deal. They have too much to lose in keeping the rest of the community together. On the other hand they cant cut us free with a bad deal as that will cost them ( or are they bothered really). Save millions. Ask them what their best deal is. Dont negotiate, put it to parliament and either go for it or give em the old two fingers. Refuse to put up a hard or soft border in ireland and tell em its their problem to sort.,

I still dont believe its going to really happen.

  4. I didnt feel that way but it doesnt matter. Were all in it together now. If the us are normal working people and the them are the factions of power hungry pocket liners then yep. Your probably right in that we were pretty half arsed and they were taking it very seriously. Effectively their aforementioned oxygen theives played a better game than ours so thats why were where we are now.

I think you will find that the majority of normal working people voted out.

  6. Agreed. Thats partly what i was trying to say. I didnt put it too well as i was referring to politicians generally and our attitude to the EU which possibly resulted in our disafection.

How do you want to measure it average income, education, it wont matter all the same result,
Im out, and I mean this thread and everything else Brexit related, it wont matter what you or I think it would appear its happening and thats that!

No measure of voter traits is more direct and linear than income. The above chart shows a near mirror image between higher-income Remain voters and lower-income Leave voters.

With few exceptions, areas with a median annual income of over £30,000 heavily backed Remain.

  11. I know! Whats that all about?

  12. Nothing to see here .... wasn't the referendum nearly 2 years ago?

How very dare you insinuate that a thread on TLB might ever go off on a tangent.

I don't like any of those results - it's those pesky Civil Servants in the Treasury, they've been fiddling the figures again;)

  16. The only undeniable fact about Brexit is that no one, no one, knows the facts. What will happen in 5, 10, or 50 yrs is all speculation.

Everyone picks and chooses their stats and predictions based on what supports their preferred opinion.
