I do loads of overtaking and never had any issues. Actually find the RHD bus more difficult as I have a huge wardrobe unit right behind my seat which affects visibility
Think your all talking rubbish ....... Do all you that say you prefer LHD busses have LHD dailys ? Drive LHD passats or when you spec'd your new merc thought about binning RHD and ordering it in LHD ......no you didn't So yes im a naysayer RHD all the way
On the Left and proud off it. Sometimes i find it harder to drive my normal car. Have had a few laughs though at the petrol stn when i get in the wrong side. Quite funny getting strange looks when they see a child sat on the right.
LHD German import. I wasnt sure when we started looking but when I took it for a test drive I didnt really give it a second thought. I did tend to drift towards the middle of the road at first but Mrs ntfc can be pretty persuasive when she shouts at me so I was soon cured.
I know most on here arnt that worried what handed hookers are. They just pays their money and enjoy. How's about a bit off TJ Hooker
Lefty over here ..... Made perfect sense as i was going travelling to forrin parts for "as long as the money lasts" . Didn`t intend to buy a bus, just having a nosey around for a better `travelling` interior than the `68 Devon tintop i had . Came across mine - 12 months mot & tax , 5 new tyres, Westy layout with roof and fridge etc etc - less than a grand - was `93 though ..... Be rude not to really OH -- and btw - No problems driving it over in blighty...
ok then, all of us with lhd's...when you have just got out of your car, switched to the bus (lhd), stopped for fuel, how many have got back in the bus on the right hand side?
LHD - I live in Korea at the mo, driving a LHD car so I'm used to it. Even when I get back to the UK most of the bus' driving will be in Europe so it won't be much of a handicap. Also, getting the bus road ready at arm's length meant that a dry state import would have so much less rust and so be much less of a problem...
I got a right hand drive one all the way from Australia. It also has the wipers going the correct way for a right hand drive bus as well which is more than you can say about any British right hand drive van.
