  1. Both of mine leak, the only one that didn't blew up :thumbsup:
    I guess as they leak your always topping up and so constantly putting in nice fresh oil :)

  2. Superficial amount,but never a tell tale sign on the garage floor ! only on the underside of sump . :thumbsup:

  3. The type 4 in mine seems much better since I had the engine out and whilst it was out changed a load of seals/gaskets whatever they were?

  4. Having got most of my leaks under control, my replacement fuel pump is leaking oil....possibly from the gasket. Just so it doesn't feel left out, my beetle is now leaking from the push rod tubes.
    I think they are attention seeking and just want us to spend more time with them.

  5. Mine will either dump the whole lot or significantly less after today.. Engine is just being moved into position for the reinstall.

    Fingers and toes crossed :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

  6. If I go on a long journey , oil seems to be on the back engine lid external, small drops doesn't seem to use much though:).

  7. Didn't leak at all for me before you had it either! Is it fully in and running now?

  8. Yes, MOT last week (was that your bus I saw at Arnolds too?) pretty much ready for my trip to France next month.
