Anyone going to Brighton Breeze 2nd Oct - 4th Oct

I don't understand the bit about not joining in if you're at hook rd on Friday night. Why not (gulp, I am)...?

 

I've got to check this with the organisers (I wanted to compile the complete list before I did so and I haven't had chance to do so yet) but normally those in club displays set up in place first thing on Saturday morning and therefore are not on the run. If we can save some spaces, then great, but I know this has been difficult in the past as any gaps left normally just get parked in by others. I returned from a wander round the traders a couple of years ago to find that someone had parked a T25 right in the middle of our club line up.

To give you an example, those in the EarlyBay line up camp at the Racecourse Friday night and go straight down to Madeira Drive Saturday morning, rather than coming from Hook Road on the run.

 

Thanks for that, and for putting time in organising this. I'll study a map so I'll twig the lie of the land better. No stress if you can't squeeze Margarita in.

A T25 though?! And you STAYED?
We need some TLB traffic cones to bagsy places. Or TLB towels...now there's a thought.

Steady don't go getting all German now lol

 

We did the run down from hook road a couple of years ago, and it was a bit of a pain in the proverbial, That said, its quite amusing being in a snake of bays in left lane of the M25, I say snake as virtually all the bays in the run were swerving white line to white line, V funny

 

Shuts heard that Madeira Drive will be closed off due to the structural failure of the steelwork ??
Anyone know what is happening there

 

A couple of us hope to be there from our local group ...but knowing us .it will be in five years time ...if we make it look for the ones looking bewildered

Apparently the pay & display is still open,so cars are parking there ill, get a mate of mine who lives in kemp town to have a look in the morning & see if they get any info

I'd imagine the SSVC will have had to change plans - the traders are normally under the arches, but I'd imagine that all traders will need to be on the pavement on the sea-side of madeira drive.

So far I have Bernard Fishtrousers, richbthefarmer and Kkkaty doing the run from Hook Road. Is ANYONE else planning on doing the run? I need to speak to the organisers about the feasibility of keeping spaces for those on the run and I'm going to enquire about that sometime in the next couple of days, so please speak up.

 

We're thinking about going but in the car - if memory serves, parking was a pig when I went many many years ago - this is the main thing that's putting me off

 

I was going to try and sneak into the convoy for free. But don't have a run number. Like I say, happy to give up my spot for people who have paid.
