Noisy as ***** though, we used to have DanAir flying from here, seats held in place with cable ties, never heard a good story about them.

Stick in the fuel tank, lubricates the pump and carb plus the smell of chips cooking drives people nuts, mind you the smoke causes a problem on the MOT

 

Must say you have just reminded me that I am missing my job at 40,000 ft since being on maternity!!!! The gobble mainly......... X

 

I remember flying in a Dan Dare 1-11. As it heaved itself off the runway, there was an enormous cracking noise, and a huge bit of trim fell off into the aisle. The cabin crew just pushed it out of the way with their feet...

 

i had a friend called capt parker who flew dan dair , he flys emirates now n lives in dubai .
