Anyone flown in the last couple of weeks

Just wondering if we should allow extra time for checking in .if security has been tightend up , is it still shoes of belts of and turn your phone on and off . Also can you get a look at the body scanner pictures or is that staff only ?

Make sure you've got a charge in mobile phone, iPad etc..... So they can turn on and prove you're not trying to hide explosives in the battery compartment.

 

I'm flying on Wednesday to Estonia. Flew to spain last year with no fuss. The missus flew to Portugal this year with no fuss too. Just make sure you don't have anything silly in your hand luggage and you'll be fine buddy!

 

We flew Bristol to Edinburgh in August and had to remove belts and shoes both ways.

My mrs got pulled by security in Florida for having a bottle of water in her hand luggage. School girl error.

 

Canaries and back no probs belts all electronics , jacket off through scanner in trays
Body scanner all good

 

2hr flight nowdays takes all day.

My nan came over from Holland 2 weeks ago she got through security with a knife, a box of matches and a pair of small scissors in her hand bag

I could not believe it when she showed me she just thought it was funny

 

I just got back from a mamouth trip 11 flights in 21 days it was all normal.
