There's loads of you in London? But agreed - London is pretty dire - takes some beating.

  5. If it makes you feel better, since my last post my reason for lack of enthusiasm was due to me coming down hard with the norovirus. I've never felt so bad. And am currently still laid up aching like a mofo, banging head ache and itching to crack on.

  9. As the great DL once said

"Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions."

Now get out there and work on that beast my friend ;)

  10. I'm not in the 'can't be bothered stage', sort of, but I'm in the absolutely fed up and 'jesus, why did I ever bother buying another bus' stage. Finishing off a bus is a bit like walking up a mountain. When you think you've reached the summit, you walk up a little further to see that in [glow=red,2,300]FACT[/glow] you've only reached a plateau and you're still miles from the actual summit. And so it goes on. Trudge, trudge, trudge, pay for this, that and the other, new this, new that, get let down by inferior and crappy parts, then I remember that I forgot to do this important bit and that important bit, then someone dents or scratches your new paintwork, then you find oil coming out of the engine and petrol dripping onto the exhaust from the filler neck (which seems to be happening now everytime I go round a corner), and to top it off the bus still doesn't drive in a straight line and no-one still knows why, new knocks and bangs coming from the shockers and suspension, gearbox definitely will need a rebuild, blah, blah, blah. I haven't got time for this anymore, so I've handed it over to my mate who's a professional mechanic, with a long 'to do' list, who claims to be able to fix anything. And to be fair, he's yet to let me down. I'll be buggered if this bus isn't completed soon.

I've sorted my steering finally. Drives like a golf - I'm not kidding - keep at it. :)

i've done loads this weekend, all back together hopefully sorted now for camperjam, interior lighting done as well, all wood has been varnished and re fitted to the sides and cab roof, been and seen about having the wood vinyl wrapped instead of airbrushed (silly money) and vinyl is fairly cheap but not overly sticky so they said to varnish it so the adhesive had more chance so for now the wood is in and just varnished and i'll sort the vinyl when i have a few quid spare... door cards repaired and sealed speakers put back in and covers made so water can't get past again....happy chappie - all i needed was sunshine.
