Thems the puppies. Didn’t know you could get them here with the white lettering already on. There are at least four others on this site running these Maxis A/T type tyres that I know of maybe even more. I think the look is ‘Purposeful’ that’s possibly the best description

    Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, They looks ace.:)

Sure are. Mine are Maxxis Big Horns 27 x 8.5 R14.

They fit stock late bay wheels. My pickup is stock height with stock brakes etc.

Those tyres fit under the arches, no problem and no rubbing - plug and play

You do need to be careful.. I was driving my bus through 4 to 6 inches of water once trying to drive along a flooded B road.. then I found a massive pothole..

Ozzie I got my wormdrive and also got the steels powder coated. What tyre pressure are you running? Or are you sticking the the standard pressures?[IMG]

I run mine at 30psi all round.

I found the stock pressures in the bigger tyres a bit squidgy.

30 psi keeps the steering feel pretty stock.

    Just sayin ;)

Must check my steering column sticker but I think it’s an aftermarket copy - not the original.

@iblaze sticker is likely to be more accurate.

    Thanks

Thanks for that. Is that rear tyre pressure for when it’s fully loaded ?

I wonder if mine being mine being fully ‘unloaded’ would bounce around a bit with 44psi in the back.

Time for a bit of testing while the weather is so nice.

I understand 44 is for fully loaded on the pick up variants. I'd try and persevere with 40 on the rear as a starting point?

Mine came back from powder coating with 50 psi it was like having power steering
I've now put them to these pressures, and all good. I went for a really good run 10 miles ish nothing on the back wasn't bouncing about.[IMG]

Isn't the difference in pressure between front and rear important too?.
Sure there's a formula for that
