sober for october? anyone?

made it through the weekend easy, while malc drank beer i had orange and lemonade, week one take that!

Lasted until 4th October ...pitiful effort really. Memo to self ...must try harder!

I'm doing really well.

I didn't drink 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
As promised I had a teeny bit to drink, just to be sociable in Brighton on the 4th, 5th & 6th
Today is the 7th and I've absolutely not had a drop.

 

I'm giving up w*nking for Lent...

i've been absolutely sh*t canned with a load of army mates all weekend & loved every minute of it.

I've not had anything to drink yet today either.

 

with what I've got going on I should be *******ed every night, but I find it easy to stop things if I decide to, i'm seriously thinking of not drinking alcohol again out of habit (so no more buying it as a matter of course) and only drinking if I go out or get offered one etc, might even give it up totally in the future, who knows? certainly don't need it.

 

alcohol is addictive and anyone with a strong character can give it up......
